WHEN DID THE CHURCH REALLY BEGIN?
Acts 7:37-38
37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of
Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto
me; him shall ye hear.
38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness
with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received
the lively oracles to give unto us:
Exod 19:1-5
1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were
gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to
the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the
mount.
3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him
out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the
children of Israel;
4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I
bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep
my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the
earth is mine:
THE CONVENANT=TEN COMMANDMENTS
Deut 4:12-13
12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the
fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he
commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of
stone.
SPEAKING ONLY TO ISRAEL
Exod 19:6
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an
holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
MIXED MULTITUDES that went out with the Israelites.
Exod 12:37-38
37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to
Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and
flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
TERROR ON THE EARTH WHEN THE ANTICHRIST REIGNS. When
the heavens rolled back as a scroll they saw the GODHEAD: the FATHER and the SON
Rev 6:12-16
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and,
lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the
moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a
fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled
together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the
rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free
man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and
hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
SEAL THE (144,000) SERVANTS IN THEIR FOREHEADS WITH THE
NEW CONVENANT before the wicked are punished
Rev 7:1-3
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the
four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not
blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having
the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it
was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the
trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
THERE WERE MANY OTHERS WITH THE 144k
Rev 7:9
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which
no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before
the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
WHERE DID THE GREAT MULTITUDE COME FROM?
Rev 7:13-14
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What
are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to
me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
THE LORD'S LAST MESSAGE BEFORE HIS RESURRECTION
Acts 1:6
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of
him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
TEACH AMONG YOURSELVES ISRAEL BEFORE YOU BRANCH TO
OTHERS
Acts 1:8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and
in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
THE FIRST CHURCH-50 DAYS AFTER HIS DEATH
Acts 2:1
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were
all with one accord in one place.
PASSOVER o PENTECOST o FEAST OF THE TABERNACLES
Deut 16:16
16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before
the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and
in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before
the LORD empty:
THE LORD USES GREAT DRAMA We must now serve God
in body and the mind
Acts 2:2-5
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a
rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of
fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began
to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men,
out of every nation under heaven.
GREAT EMPHASIS: PETER IS ADDRESSING ISRAEL
Acts 2:14
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his
voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this
known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Acts 2:22
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth,
a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in
the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Acts 2:36
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
NOW LET ALL THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL KNOW
Acts 2:37-41
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their
heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall
we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and
to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort,
saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Acts 2:46
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the
temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and
singleness of heart,
GOD NEVER PROMISED OUR FOREFATHERS HEAVEN but THE
PROMISED LAND OF ISRAEL
Acts 3:12-26
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye
men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our
own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God
of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the
presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a
murderer to be granted unto you;
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised
from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this
man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this
perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did
it, as did also your rulers.
18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the
mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins
may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was
preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of
restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets
since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall
the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in
all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will
not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that
follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the
covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all
the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus,
sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
TIME FOR PAUL; A LIGHT TO THE GENTILES
Acts 9:1-2
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter
against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the
synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might
bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
Acts 9:13-16
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of
this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to
bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a
chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of
Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for
my name's sake.
Acts 9:31
31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and
Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the
comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
WHEN DID THE 1st EUROPEANS COME INTO THE CHURCH? (many
years after the Pentecost via Peter)
Acts 10:1-2
1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a
centurion of the band called the Italian band,
2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his
house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

GOD IS NOT A RESPECTER OF PERSONS but
RIGHTEOUSNESS vs. WICKEDNESS
Acts 10:34-48
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I
perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh
righteousness, is accepted with him.
36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel,
preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published
throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost
and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in
the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before
of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to
testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his
name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell
on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were
astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out
the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify
God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be
baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the
Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Rom 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to
the Greek.
Rom 9:1-5
1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also
bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my
heart.
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ
for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and
the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the
promises;
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the
flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 11:1-4
1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid.
For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot
ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against
Israel, saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down
thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have
reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Rom 11:25
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant
of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is
happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
ISRAELITES HAD THE KNOWLEDGE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS
BEFORE PAUL STARTED TEACHING GENTILES Paul fed the Gentiles like babes
1Thes 2:11-16
11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged
every one of you, as a father doth his children,
12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you
unto his kingdom and glory.
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing,
because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the
word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you
that believe.
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of
God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own
countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets,
and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might
be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
PAUL SPOKE TO ISRAEL MORE MATURELY
Heb 8:7-13
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then
should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days
come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with
the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their
fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt;
because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the
house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and
write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and
every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the
greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and
their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the
first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
SEEK GOD IN TRUTH & RIGHTEOUSNESS; ISRAEL of GOD
Gal 6:15-16
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any
thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on
them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
